It was completed in 1977 and owned by Singapore Land Group (SingLand), a listed unit of UOL Group. The building had about 279,000 sq ft of net lettable space and sits on a site of roughly 3,343 sq m held on a 999-year lease.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>The original building no longer stands. It closed to tenants at the end of 2022 and demolition began in 2023. SingLand is redeveloping the site into a new Grade A office tower called The Clifford, designed by London firm PLP Architecture and expected to be completed in 2028.
