It has a two-level retail podium with seven floors of offices above, and a net lettable area of about 30,800 sq ft. The land is held on a 99-year lease that began in December 1974. OneMap now lists the building as Bernhard Schulte House, the name it took after a change of ownership in 2017.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>The building was previously known as Bright Chambers. Property fund manager Pamfleet bought it in 2013 for $45 million and carried out a full refurbishment, with new mechanical and electrical systems, lifts and double-glazed windows. It was the centre of the pre-war Japanese community and of the Hainanese quarter.
