About ARC 380

ARC 380 is a 16-storey freehold office and retail building at 380 Jalan Besar, Singapore 209000, at the junction with Lavender Street in District 8 (Little India / Farrer Park). The tower takes its name from its curved plan, which is wrapped in a glass curtain wall and broken up by planted, cantilevered sky terraces. Shared facilities are unusual for an office block: a fourth-storey sky terrace with barbecue area, and a roof terrace on the 17th storey with a 25-metre swimming pool, gym and function room. Tong Eng first launched units for sale in 2014 and kept a large share as an investment.

Interesting facts

  • ARC 380 replaced Eminent Plaza, a 1980s building, and the adjoining Lavender Food Square, a well-known food centre whose roughly 30 stalls had to move out in 2014.

  • The food centre had an earlier life as Bugis Square. It shut in 1990 because of drainage problems and reopened about two years later.

  • The developer states that the building was a winner at the 2019 FIABCI Singapore Property Awards.

  • In July 2025, Tong Eng put more than 50 office units and nine retail units in the building on the market, priced collectively at over $90 million. Co-working operator WeWork was reported at the time as leasing the 15th and 16th floors.

Bendemeer MRT (Downtown Line) is about 5 minutes' walk, and Lavender MRT (East West Line) and Boon Keng MRT (North East Line) are each around 10 minutes away. Citylights condominium and the People's Association headquarters are to the south, with Jalan Besar Stadium beyond. The ground floor of ARC 380 has its own food court, and the Jalan Besar shophouse belt is known for cafes and old-school eateries. The Kallang River park connector is a short walk east.
