About Connexion
Connexion is a 20-storey healthcare and hospitality complex at 1 Farrer Park Station Road, Singapore 217562, in District 8 (Little India / Farrer Park). It sits directly above Farrer Park MRT station. The complex was developed and is managed by The Farrer Park Company, a group formed by private medical and hospitality specialists together with selected investors. DP Architects designed it, with DP Design and DP Green handling interiors and landscape. Construction ran from about 2009 to 2014.
The building combines three main uses. The west wing holds Farrer Park Medical Centre, with around ten floors of specialist clinic suites. The east wing holds Farrer Park Hospital, a private tertiary hospital, and One Farrer Hotel. A ground-floor retail stretch called Owen Link serves patients, hotel guests and commuters. The first clinics opened in May 2014 and the hospital was officially opened on 16 March 2016 by the then Minister for Health.

The Farrer Park Company describes Connexion as Singapore's first fully integrated healthcare and hospitality complex, with hospital, clinics and hotel under one roof.
The hospital has 125 beds and 18 operating theatres, according to published figures.
The project received the BCA Green Mark Platinum award in 2011. Green features include rainwater harvesting for landscape irrigation, sky gardens and roof gardens.
The west-facing medical centre windows are shaded by triangulated, perforated panels that cut solar heat gain while still admitting daylight.
The surrounding Farrer Park area was the site of Singapore's first racecourse, which operated off Serangoon Road from 1842 to 1933. The open ground was named Farrer Park in 1935.

Farrer Park MRT (North East Line) is in the basement of the complex. Little India MRT (North East and Downtown lines) is roughly 10 minutes away on foot. Farrer Square and the Holiday Inn Singapore Little India stand next door, and City Square Mall and Mustafa Centre are a short walk away. Tekka Centre, about 10 to 12 minutes down Serangoon Road, has one of the best-known hawker centres in the area. Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple on Serangoon Road is also close by.
