Le Nouvel Ardmore is a freehold residential tower at 1A Ardmore Park. It is managed as MCST 4200, with Jones Lang LaSalle as its managing agent.

Development

Wing Tai Holdings launched the development in July 2011 as a single 33-storey tower of 43 residences. Its architect was the French architect Jean Nouvel, winner of the 2008 Pritzker Prize, and Wing Tai described it as his first residential building in Singapore and in Asia (Wing Tai, July 2011).

Wing Tai's portfolio records the tower as completed in 2014, with two apartments on each floor, each reached by a private lift (Wing Tai Holdings).

Design

At its launch, the developer described greenery built into the architecture as a response to Singapore as a garden city, with each apartment conceived as an elevated bungalow. It likened the façade grid to a Rubik's cube, with movable screens, and placed shared observation decks on the 26th and 27th floors. These describe the original design intent.

The lighting was designed by L'Observatoire International, which describes coloured lighting for the bamboo-planted terraces (L'Observatoire International).
