Leedon Residence is a freehold residential development of 381 homes at Leedon Heights. It is managed as MCST 4342, with A & L Property Services as its managing agent.
From Leedon Heights to Leedon Residence
The site was previously the freehold condominium Leedon Heights. In April 2007, GuocoLand announced that its subsidiary had won the collective sale tender for S$835 million. It described a site of about 48,525 sq m with a plot ratio of 1.6, one of the largest freehold residential sites in District 10, next to the Cornwall good class bungalow area (GuocoLand announcement, April 2007). The purchase was completed in December 2007.
Design
The development was designed by SCDA Architects under Chan Soo Khian. GuocoLand's account describes a 200-metre forest walk, water courts and landscaped gardens, with homes from about 1,000 to 8,000 sq ft (GuocoLand, July 2015). EdgeProp describes 11 low-rise blocks of 12 storeys each (EdgeProp, October 2017). These describe the original design intent.
Completion
GuocoLand reported that Leedon Residence received its Temporary Occupation Permit on 15 June 2015. The developer also lists a BCA Green Mark GoldPlus award for the project (GuocoLand).
