Doors, windows, walls & lifts

Access cards, gates and visitors

Ask your management office

• I've lost my access card or car park transponder. How do I replace it?
• How do I get extra access cards for family or a helper?
• How do I register a visitor or contractor?
• Can my delivery or ride-hailing driver come to my door?

Windows and glass

• My window doesn't close properly and a part looks loose. What should I do?BCA advises strata owners to inspect and maintain windows at least twice a year. Set two dates about six months apart, and record any change in how each window closes. A planned check does not replace prompt action when a panel, fastener or safety fitting looks loose.

Ask your management office

• My window can't be opened after the building's painting or facade works.
• When is the next facade or window cleaning?

Lifts

• I'm stuck in a lift. What should I do?Stay calm and press the alarm or intercom button. Do not try to force the doors open or climb out.

Ask your management office

• The lift is out of service. When will it be fixed?
