About Finexis Building

Finexis Building is a 12-storey freehold office block at 108 Robinson Road in Singapore's central business district (District 1). The building dates from the 1970s and was earlier known as GMG Building. It has a net lettable area of roughly 54,000 to 55,000 sq ft, with compact floor plates of about 4,750 sq ft, and a two-level retail podium beneath ten office floors. In recent years it has been marketed simply as 108 Robinson Road.

The block has been renovated more than once. A major refurbishment was carried out in the late 2000s, and a second overhaul finished in 2023 gave it a full-height glass facade, new lifts and air-conditioning, a refreshed double-volume lobby and rooftop solar panels. It was awarded BCA Green Mark Platinum certification in 2023. The building is now strata-titled and held by several owners.

Interesting facts

  • PGIM Real Estate bought the building from Sin Capital Group in 2021 for about $143 million, covering the ten office floors and the retail podium.

  • From August 2024 PGIM sold the building floor by floor. Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple bought three office floors for $55.8 million in 2025, and the retail podium changed hands for $27.7 million in September 2024.

  • The last office floor was sold in 2026 for $16.1 million, bringing total proceeds to around $208 million according to Mingtiandi.

  • Robinson Road itself stands on land reclaimed from Telok Ayer Bay in 1879 and is named after a Governor of the Straits Settlements who served from 1877 to 1879.

Tanjong Pagar MRT (East-West Line), Telok Ayer MRT (Downtown Line) and Shenton Way MRT (Thomson-East Coast Line) are each around five minutes away on foot. Neighbours include Robinson 77, Capital Tower, Oxley Tower and SBF Center. Amoy Street Food Centre and Lau Pa Sat are the closest hawker options, and the conserved shophouses and temples of Telok Ayer Street are a short walk north.
