From Good Luck Garden to Forett
The site was previously Good Luck Garden, a freehold estate of 210 homes. In March 2018 it was sold collectively for S$610 million to a joint venture of Qingjian Group and Perennial Real Estate Holdings, on a site of about 360,130 sq ft (Perennial, April 2018). Some owners objected, and the High Court approved the sale in November 2018 (EdgeProp, November 2018).
Development
At its launch in 2020, EdgeProp reported 633 homes and two shops in 13 blocks of five and nine storeys, designed by P&T Group with landscape design by Ecoplan Asia. The landscaping followed a "four seasons" theme, and a long ivy-covered wall from Good Luck Garden was to be kept (EdgeProp, July 2020). These describe the original design intent.
CNQC International, Qingjian's listed company, reported all 633 homes sold by the end of 2023 and construction completed in 2024 (CNQC, March 2025).
