Samsung Hub is a 30-storey strata office tower at 3 Church Street, Singapore 049480, in the Raffles Place financial area of postal District 1. It was completed around 2005. The building was first known simply as 3 Church Street and took the Samsung name from its anchor occupier. Today it is a multi-owner strata building managed by MCST 3129. Whole floors change hands from time to time.

Interesting facts

  • During construction in 2002 the partly built tower was found to be tilting slightly. The foundations were strengthened with micropiles, which delayed completion by about two years.

  • In February 2007 OCBC agreed to sell its office floors on levels 16 to 21 for about $122.4 million. In the same year CapitaLand sold its stake in the building to Ho Bee Group for more than $140 million.

  • In February 2020 the 11th floor, about 13,100 sq ft, sold for $49.78 million. CBRE said at the time it was the highest price for a single strata office floor in the CBD in five years.

  • The tower has a double-volume entrance lobby, column-free office floors and 177 car park lots.
