The Atelier is a freehold residential development at 2 Makeway Avenue, in the Newton area of District 9, developed by Bukit Sembawang Estates Limited. It is a single tower of 22 storeys with 120 units, designed by Ong & Ong Pte Ltd, on a site of 3,864 square metres. Bukit Sembawang reported that the Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) was obtained in May 2024.
The site
In its 2019 annual report, Bukit Sembawang described The Atelier as a condominium at Makeway Avenue on the former site of Makeway View. The project was previewed from 27 February 2021.
Design
The homes range from one to four bedrooms, from 549 sq ft to 1,496 sq ft. The communal facilities are spread across three landscaped decks on the 1st, 6th and 18th storeys, called Indulge, Immerse and Inspire. Bukit Sembawang lists among them a 48-metre lap pool, study pods, a fitness gym and tree-top play areas, with a clubhouse on the 18th storey.
The developer also fitted Smart Home and Smart Community features. Its launch release describes lift lobbies equipped with face recognition and contactless wave buttons, to limit physical contact at high-traffic points.

According to BCA's register of management corporations, the management corporation was formed on 27 March 2025, the development has 120 strata lots, and Knight Frank Property & Facilities Management Pte.
