Riverbank @ Fernvale is a UOL condominium on Fernvale Close in Sengkang, beside Punggol Reservoir. The developer’s project profile describes 555 homes in four 19-storey blocks. Development and completion
UOL’s 2017 annual report records that Riverbank @ Fernvale received its Temporary Occupation Permit in March 2017. This is an actual completion milestone, rather than a forecast from the launch period. The developer identifies the property as a 99-year leasehold development.
A landscape designed around changing levels
In its account of the original inclusive design, UOL explains how the naturally uneven site influenced the communal spaces. An intermediate level accommodated part of a jogging route and connected several outdoor facilities. Ramps, stairs and lifts were incorporated to link spaces at different heights.
The landscape was organised into five themed zones, including a riverside trail and an elevated observation area. UOL’s description includes fitness areas, a wetland pool, a boardwalk, places to sit and an amphitheatre intended for resident interaction. The project received BCA’s Universal Design Mark Gold (Design) award in 2014.

Reservoir paths and Fernvale amenities
Beyond the estate, Punggol Park Connector follows Punggol Reservoir and passes Anchorvale Community Club, Sengkang Sports Complex and Sengkang Floating Wetland. It forms part of the public walking and cycling network. Confirm the route from the condominium’s permitted entrance; the presence of a path nearby does not establish access through a private gate.
UOL identifies Layar LRT as a nearby station. SBS Transit’s station plan confirms Layar’s SW6 designation. For shopping trips, The Seletar Mall is at 33 Sengkang West Avenue and identifies Fernvale LRT (SW5) as its nearest rail stop. Layar and Fernvale are separate stations.
