RiverTrees Residences is a condominium of 495 homes at 21 to 45 Fernvale Close, beside the Sungei Punggol Reservoir. It is registered as MCST 4586.
Development
The development was a joint venture of Frasers Centrepoint, Far East Orchard and Sekisui House. Their launch press release in February 2014 described two 22-storey and three 20-storey apartment blocks, eight strata landed homes called the Cove Houses, and one shop for residents' daily needs (Frasers Centrepoint, February 2014).
The reservoir setting
The developers described a site with about 150 metres of frontage on the Sungei Punggol Reservoir. The apartment blocks were arranged in a crescent facing the water, overlooking the Cove Houses, which are duplex homes set close to the reservoir's edge. The developers said that around 90% of the homes would face the reservoir. These describe the original design intent.
The development was previewed on 14 February 2014, and at that time completion was expected in 2018.
