Savannah CondoPark (百馨园) is a condominium on Simei Rise in District 18, developed by City Developments Limited (CDL). The homes carry addresses along Simei Rise from No. 31 to No. 67, and the estate is listed in this directory as a residential condominium in the Tampines area.
Singapore's first eco-condo
CDL's own heritage timeline records that in 2002 it launched Savannah Condo-Park, describing it as Singapore's first eco-condo. The company's Chinese-language timeline gives the same entry under the name 百馨园, calling it the first eco-friendly condominium in Singapore.
The development was built with the stated aim of creating homes that are eco-friendly and energy efficient. In the citation for its 2007 President's Award for the Environment, the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment notes that CDL developed Savannah CondoPark as its first eco-condo, with many eco-friendly attributes, and that the developer received the Building and Construction Authority's Green Mark Gold Award for the project in recognition of those efforts.
The same citation places Savannah CondoPark at the start of a wider programme: it goes on to describe later CDL projects receiving Green Mark Platinum awards, and an eco-home initiative for CDL homebuyers launched in March 2004.
