The executive condominium site at Punggol Central and Edgefield Plains, of about 13,242 sq m, closed for tender in March 2012 with 10 bids. The top bid of S$136.7 million came from Qingjian Realty (PropertyGuru via Yahoo Finance, March 2012).
Development
BCA describes Waterbay as six blocks of 17-storey apartments with 383 homes, developed by Qingjian Realty (Edgefield Plains) and designed by ADDP Architects. It received BCA's Universal Design Mark GoldPLUS award in 2017, after a Gold award for its design in 2015. BCA's citation mentions features such as a family toilet, secondary handrails, a Braille directory map and signage, and a wheelchair rental service (BCA, May 2017).
Qingjian lists Waterbay among its projects as completed in 2016 (Qingjian).
